Program & Compliance Management Unit (PCMU)

LogoThe Texas Department of Public Safety Program and Compliance Management Unit is the liaison between the Education, Research and Training Division and the Procurement Department. We provide assistance with purchasing and contract services for multiple departments. We provide assistance with purchasing and contract services for multiple units in the Education, Training and Research Division.  Our goal is to assist in the consolidation of day-to-day business operations to streamline all requests for items. The Program and Compliance Unit centralizes the back office operations and eliminates redundancy. 

The Program and Compliance Management Unit serves all Education, Training and Research personnel, which include eight different programs.  The purpose of the Program and Compliance Unit is to assist other units within the division so that other teams can focus on their core business, while improving costs and operational strategies.  This unit assists with purchasing all goods and services as well as authorizing the receipt and tracking inventory of products.  For additional information on how we can help, please email ETR.Requisitions@dps.texas.gov.
