The objective of Region VII is to provide a safe work environment for the state officials and employees within the Capitol Complex, protect state grounds and property, assist visitors, regulate parking, control traffic, and to investigate criminal activity occurring within its' boundaries.
The mission of Region VII is to:

Supervise police security of the Capitol complex and assigned areas of responsibilities.

Preserve the peace, to investigate crimes, and to arrest criminals.

Administer and supervise parking regulations.

Execute programs supplementing and supporting the preceding activities
