DPS Seeks Public’s Help in 2018 Midland Co. Disappearance (West Texas Region)

MIDLAND – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is seeking information in the 2018 disappearance of Caitlin Denison, 19, of Reno, NV., as there is renewed interest in the case based on new information gathered by the Texas Rangers. Investigators believe the public may have key information to help solve this case.

DPS Honors Heroic Actions and Bravery at October PSC Meeting

AUSTIN – Yesterday, the Public Safety Commission (PSC), along with Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Director Steven McCraw, recognized the service of several Texans at the PSC meeting at DPS Headquarters in Austin. DPS Apprehends Dozens of Illegal Immigrants from Special Interest Countries

AUSTIN – Over the last week, Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Troopers working Operation Lone Star – the state’s mission to secure our southern border and deter, detect and interdict criminal activity between ports of entry – have apprehended two large groups of illegal immigrants, many coming from countries of special interest, attempting to unlawfully enter the United States.
