Texas Rangers Seek Tips in Murder of Williamson Co. Senior

AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is seeking information in the 1992 murder of 81-year-old Raymond “Ray” Adolph Lightner. The reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for his death is now increased to $6,000 if the tip is received before the next featured Texas Rangers cold case is announced. Anyone with information is asked to please come forward.

DPS Hosts Annual Drone Expo and Workshop

AUSTIN – This week, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) hosted TEXCON 2025, an Annual Public Safety Drone Expo and Tactical Awareness Kit (TAK) Workshop at the DPS Tactical Training Center in Florence. This year’s event, scheduled Dec. 1 through 4, was attended by over 300 members of local, state and federal law enforcement, as well as first responders from across the country.

Child Predator from Cuba Named Featured Fugitive for December

AUSTIN – Texas 10 Most Wanted Criminal Illegal Immigrant William Herrera Zamora – a convicted child sex offender from Cuba – is this month’s Featured Fugitive. The reward for information leading to his arrest is increased to $8,500 during December if the tip is received this month.
