AUSTIN – Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender Larry Capko, who is also affiliated with the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas, is this month’s Featured Fugitive. The reward for information leading to his arrest is increased to $4,000 if the tip is received during the month of July.

AUSTIN – Newly signed legislation is making changes to the existing AMBER Alert system to allow local area activation under certain conditions. Texas Governor Greg Abbott signed HB 3556 into law on June 13, 2023, and the law immediately took effect.

AUSTIN – Three of Texas’ 10 Most Wanted offenders are back in custody following their recent arrests. Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender Juan Sauseda was arrested in Houston on June 28. Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives Shawn Mueller was arrested in Houston on June 28 and Victor Gaeta was arrested June 24 in Anthony. A Crime Stoppers reward will be paid in Gaeta’s capture.

AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has added Leonard Lamar Neal, of Dallas, to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List and $10,000 in reward money is being offered for information that leads to his arrest. Both Texas Crime Stoppers and North Texas Crime Stoppers are each offering cash rewards of up to $5,000 for information leading to Neal’s arrest. All tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.

AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has added Victor Manuel Gaeta, of El Paso, to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List and Crime Stoppers is now offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to his arrest. All tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.

The Texas License To Carry Handgun (LTC) card will now be issued with a newly featured 2D barcode on the reverse side of the card.  

AUSTIN – The Texas Public Safety Commission (PSC), along with Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Director Steven McCraw, presented two Javier Arana Top Trooper Awards, two Adolph Thomas Distinguished Service Awards and three Lifesaving Awards at the PSC meeting on Thursday, June 8, at DPS Headquarters in Austin.

AUSTIN – Three of Texas’ 10 Most Wanted are back in custody following their arrests last month. Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender David Thomas was arrested May 17. Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives Nehemiah Hicks was arrested May 22, and Kentrell Fletcher was arrested May 25. A Crime Stoppers reward was paid in Thomas’ arrest.
