You need to be aware of a DPS officer who went above and beyond the call of duty on July 11th, Palo Pinto Co. His name is Wil Windham, from Region 1.
I was driving to work and about 30 minutes out, it began to rain heavily and at some point something got stuck underneath my car and I veered off the road.
While driving East on I-20, milepost 556 East of Dallas, I sustained a rear passenger-side tire blowout. I managed to safely maneuver the vehicle off the road.
We would like to commend Trooper Asby for his extra help on June 9 in Leon County. Not only did he assist with safety concerns but he helped solve the problem with a tire blowout on our A-frame pull behind camper.
On July 6, 2020 I was stopped for speeding by Officer Jones. It was late at night and I didn’t realize I was traveling at that rate of speed over the 80mph which was posted.
I had the unfortunate incident of getting a blow out on Sunday, July 5th, 2020. It was very hot and lots of traffic due to the holiday weekend.
We were driving from Austin to Amarillo and wanting to get there faster, I was driving over the speed limit for a while. Officer Mosher pulled me over.
On July 5th, I was pulled over by Officer Norman. We exchanged greetings and he informed me that I was traveling a little too close to the vehicle in front of me.
While I was driving home to Dallas, I had a flat tire. The response from everyone was that they could not assist me.
I was pulled over by Trooper Pietrzykowski while traveling through Jefferson County back to Lake Charles. He showed the utmost professionalism and kindness to myself and the driver.
Officer Reynolds stopped me for speeding and failure to drive in a single lane.
