I was travelling east on I-40 outside Amarillo when I got pulled over by Officer Roberts. He was very pleasant and affable during the whole interaction. He didn't make me feel like a bad criminal.

Trooper Sen was extremely professional and polite from the very beginning. When he noticed my sleeping toddler in the car he became even quieter in his demeanor.

State Trooper Taylor was recently a blessing in diffusing a very tense family situation. He’s a great example of how law enforcement can collectively work with families.

Captain Scullin was so awesome! He was helped me out so much. Since I’m quarantined I can’t go out anywhere and I was so frustrated not being able to take care of my responsibilities.

Somewhere near Kingsville, I missed seeing a work zone sign and was pulled over by Trooper Marcus Bulluck.

Trooper Collier helped my wife and sister-in-law change a flat tire at FM 2105 and Arden Rd. He got his nice clean uniform dirty and messed up.

South of Waxahachie, I hit something on the highway that destroyed the back passenger tire. I had just dropped the spare when Officer Abreu stopped to slow traffic and, to my surprise, help change the flat.

I was on the Mopac Expressway (State Highway Loop 1) driving home from classes at seminary in the early evening of November 12, 2019, when my vehicle lost battery power. I was effectively stranded on the road.

Officer Collier stopped me for speeding just outside of Sterling City, Texas. He is one of the most professional and well-mannered young men I have met in quite some time.

Officer Griffith stopped me north of Mason, TX today for speeding. I was guilty of speeding but Officer Griffith was extremely courteous and friendly. Officer Griffith made me proud to be a Texan.

At 53 years old I have had my share of encounters with traffic stops and interactions with police over the years.

Officer Jackson went above and beyond to assist myself and my family on 2/9/20. We were traveling past Rockport on Hwy 35 when had a catastrophic blow out of our travel trailer tire- it destroyed part of trailer.

My teenaged daughter was just pulled over due to slightly speeding by Officer Rose. She was terrified, as this was her first time being pulled over. She described this officer as being extremely kind and helpful.

I was pulled over at MP-151 on I-10 on February 9, 2020 by Officer Valencia 15682. I wanted to reach out and express how impressed I was with his professionalism and courtesy.

On February 17th, 2020, Officer Westerman pulled over my husband. The officer was calm and relaxed. Never have I seen an officer treat a person with such respect.

I was recently pulled over by one of your officers for speeding. As most people, I was very scared when I was pulled over.

I want to express my gratitude to Trooper Bates for showing such compassion and understanding to a grieving couple that he pulled over for a recent traffic stop on the highway.

I was pulled over by Trooper Cornell. Trooper Cornell was very professional and friendly throughout the entire interaction.

On the morning of January 24, 2020, I had just returned home from a local retail store in Sherman where I had picked up a chair for our home.

We wanted to extend a compliment to a DPS officer that stopped my husband and me on US 183 outside of Gonzales.

Very professional. She did a fine job of upholding and representing the Texas Department of Public Safety. She maintained the scrutiny one could expect from a DPS officer while remaining friendly and courteous.

This morning Trooper Neff proceeded to perform a traffic stop on my behalf. Trooper Neff went above and beyond this morning with me. He was incredibly polite, professional and quick.

I just wanted to take the time to compliment Officer Patlan. During the traffic stop he was courteousness, professional, and personable.

You know sometimes it’s scary getting pulled over by a state trooper. Today I was pulled over and I was scared but the officer who pulled me over was a sweet and compassionate officer.

While having lunch today in Lubbock, I was able to speak with these two State Troopers for a few minutes. They were very approachable, gracious, and respectful.
