Mandatory Annual Training for Current LEAs

The State Coordinator’s Office is required to provide annual training to all active, participating Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs). This training is vital to ensure each agency stays informed of current policies and procedures required to maintain a compliant and successful LESO Program. Mandatory In-Person Training for New LEAs

Our one-day in-person training classes are conducted in Austin, free to attend, and mandatory for all new participants before any property requests can be approved. Attendees must remain for the entire class, including the afternoon session, to fulfill the participation requirements for the Texas LESO Program. Attendees will receive TCOLE credit upon completion.

It is highly recommended that your agency be fully approved for program participation before registering for a class. While we make every effort to accommodate active members who wish to attend for a refresher, priority registration is reserved for new participants whose attendance is mandatory.

Cornerstone Account Registration

All training registration and tracking are managed through the Cornerstone portal.

  • Cornerstone Account Creation Guide (PDF) – Follow this guide to set up your profile if you do not already have an active account.
  • Important: You must locate your Cornerstone Unique ID within your profile and provide it to our office so we can formally enroll you in the training class and ensure you receive TCOLE credit.
