Texas DPS Seeks Help Locating Hit and Run Driver (DPS - Central Texas Region)

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is seeking the public’s help in identifying a vehicle that struck a pedestrian and failed to stop and render aid.

On Saturday, September 19, 2021 at approximately 11:00 p.m., DPS Troopers responded to a crash involving a pedestrian near the 9200 block of West US 290 near Ledgestone Terrace in Travis County. The vehicle drifted onto the shoulder and struck a pedestrian, causing serious bodily injury. 

Witnesses have described the suspect’s vehicle as possibly being a 2010-2011 black Honda Civic 4-door passenger vehicle.  The vehicle will have damage to the front right side including a missing right turn signal light and the right side mirror.  The driver was described as a male in his twenties, approximately five feet ten inches to six feet tall, short hair and wearing a black t-shift at the time.
