LAREDO – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) seized more than $10,000 in currency during a traffic stop Tuesday, March 3, 2020 in Webb County.
A DPS Trooper stopped the driver of a black Ford F-150 on Interstate Highway 35 for a traffic violation. The Trooper subsequently discovered a bundle of U.S. currency during a vehicle search, totaling $10,803, in the center console of the vehicle.
The driver was arrested for money laundering - state jail felony and booked into the Webb County Jail.
