LUBBOCK – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), accompanied by Santa, delivered gifts today to residents at the Lubbock State Supported Living Center.
"Community relations are vital to the success of law enforcement agencies," said DPS Regional Director Gary Albus. "Seeing the joy on the faces of the residents is very rewarding and reminds us of the importance of serving our communities."
Approximately 100 gifts were purchased by DPS employees at the Lubbock Regional Office. This is the fifth year DPS employees have partnered with the center to provide gifts for residents. DPS plans to continue this partnership for years to come.
