HOUSTON - The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) arrested four members of a drug trafficking organization – '52 Hoover Crip' - for felony possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute the narcotics, following the service of a Sep. 26 search warrant in northcentral Harris County.

At approximately 10 a.m., DPS Special Agents and Houston Police officers searched a residence and a nearby vehicle with known suspects inside, seizing over 16 kilograms of methamphetamines, more than 100 grams of ecstasy tablets, approximately 250 grams of cocaine, and six weapons from both locations. In addition, DPS Special Agents and Houston Police Officers recovered from the residence a stolen 2016 Kawasaki Mule ATV that was valued at approximately $9,000.

Those arrested were transported to the Harris County jail and have been identified as: Elias Luna, 24; Alfonso Rios, 29; Oswaldo Gutierrez, 43, from Houston; and Geraldo Jimenez, 29, of Conroe.

This joint investigation between the DPS Special Agents (Criminal Investigations Division) and Houston Police Department remains ongoing with further charges likely. Additional details are not available for release at this time.
