I would like to thank this officer for his exceptional interaction with my grandchildren during a traffic stop. Their reactions were frozen and silent during the entire interaction. The officer was so kind, engaged a conversation with them (although they never responded) he told them how proud he was of them for being in car seats, and asked me if they could have a sticker. Later they explained, while crying, that they were so scared, because they thought he would take me to jail. I know now that he must have recognized their fears instantly, and he responded so therapeutically for them! Please give this man recognition for his exceptional humanity and professionalism! He provided a vital opportunity to address the goodness of law enforcement officers to them. I sincerely appreciate the positive impact he delivered for us! This officer has my utmost respect and gratitude.
