I was pulled over for a defective headlight on my vehicle. When I got pulled over, the stop was quick and efficient; it made a big impact on me. After a tiring day and still upset about the rude customers at work, this officer was a bright spot in my day. He was polite and respectful - 2 qualities I hadn’t seen in people much today, so this simple traffic stop restored my faith in humanity. Again, I’m sure this was not a very memorable traffic stop for this officer, but I wanted to write in hopes that this will make its way to someone who can commend this person for a job well done. Who knew that getting pulled over for a headlight being out would be the bright spot in a person’s day, but this short exchange was surprisingly just what was needed.
