Hello! I went to the South Gessner Driver License Office today and had a very positive experience. I am so pleased that appointments are offered and it was easy to sign up for a time online. My appointment was at 1:00. I was asked to arrive at 12:30, but I arrived closer to 12:45. I signed in and sat down. At about 12:55, I was called. The woman that helped me was Debbie Bennett. She was friendly, patient, and answered all my questions. I assumed she had been a long term employee because she knew what she was doing and was very competent. I asked her if she had worked there for a long time and was surprised when she told me she had been working there since October 2020. That’s only six months! All went smoothly and we were done at 1:15. The system you are using at the DPS is much improved since the last time I was there. Y’all are doing a great job! And, kudos to Debbie!
