Reminder: DPS Seeking Information in Refugio County Cold Case Homicide

AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) continues to seek the public’s help in identifying a woman and solving her 1992 killing. An increased reward of up to $6,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of those responsible for her death if the tip is received before the next featured Texas Rangers cold case is announced. A $3,000 reward for information leading to an arrest is routinely offered on all cases on the Texas Rangers Unsolved Homicides website.

DPS Seeks Public’s Help in Fatal Hit and Run

TYLER – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is asking for the public’s help in the investigation of a fatal hit-and-run crash that resulted in the death of a Steven Lynn Chambless on SH 198 near Van Zandt County Road 2435. The crash occurred on Saturday, November 28 at approximately 7:30 p.m.
