Advanced Polygraph Training Course
June 4-6, 2025

The Advanced Polygraph Training Course is presented by members of the Texas Department of Public Safety Law Enforcement Polygraph School faculty and will be held at the Texas DPS Criminal Law Enforcement Auditorium located at 6100 Guadalupe Street, Building E, Austin, Texas, 78752. The cost for this course is $250.00, and students will be responsible for their own meals and lodging in Austin.  The course is open to full-time law enforcement and government polygraph examiners, who will be eligible to earn 20 hours of TCOLE credit.  

The course will include eight hours of advanced anatomy and physiology by Pam Shaw, Director of the National Polygraph Academy, as well as in-depth training on:

  • Countermeasures
  • Test Question Construction
  • Empirical Scoring System and Test Data Analysis
  • Theme Building
  • Applied Psychology

Participants will also have opportunities to reconnect with former DPS Polygraph School graduates and to network with examiners from across the nation.
