Highway Patrolman David A. McGonagill
April 18, 1938 - September 4, 1940
Patrolman McGonagill was struck and killed by lightning on September 4, 1940, while riding regular patrol on his motorcycle. He began his career with the agency on April 18, 1938, and was stationed at Lubbock.
