Frankie Lee BELL Jr., a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive affiliated with the Bloods gang, was captured on January 25, 2018, at a residence in Caldwell, Texas. The investigation that resulted in BELL’s arrest was a multi-agency effort that included law enforcement agencies from Burleson and Brazos counties, including DPS CID Special Agents, the Bryan Police Department, the Burleson County Sheriff’s Office, and the Caldwell Police Department. The U.S. Marshals Service, ICE-HSI, DPS Troopers, and DPS Aircraft also provided assistance.In August 2006, BELL was convicted in Brazos County of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon after shooting two male subjects with a handgun. He subsequently received a 12-year sentence in TDCJ prison. BELL was discharged from TDCJ in June 2017.BELL was wanted in connection with an Oct. 3, 2017, robbery at a residence in Bryan that left two men dead and another injured.On October 10, 2017, four warrants for BELL's arrest were issued in Brazos County in connection to the shooting, including two counts of Murder and two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.The arrest was not the result of a tip received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
