Brian STEVENSON, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, was captured on December 21, 2022, in Palestine, Texas. Working off investigative information, DPS Special Agents, along with members of the U.S. Marshals Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force, located and arrested STEVENSON. In 2021, STEVENSON was convicted of Resisting Arrest and was sentenced to 135 days of confinement.STEVENSON had been wanted since May 24, 2022, after the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office issued warrants for his arrest for eight counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. Additionally, on July 20, 2022, the Smith County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest for Contempt of Court and on October 28, 2022, the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest for Failure to Identify.STEVENSON’s arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
