John Martin DIXON, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, was taken into custody on August 25, 2025, by the Houston Police Department.DIXON has been convicted multiple times in the past for Possession of Marijuana. Additionally, in 2008, he was charged with Evading Arrest/Detention with a Vehicle and subsequently received two years’ probation.On July 17, 2025, DIXON allegedly shot his 18-year-old neighbor in the back multiple times as the neighbor and his younger brother were walking inside their home following the burial of their pet in their backyard.DIXON had been wanted since August 9, 2025, when a warrant was issued out of Harris County for his arrest for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon – Firearm.DIXON’s arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
