Herbert SOUVENIR, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, was captured on April 17, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. Following up on tip information, members of the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, including Texas DPS Special Agents, Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, Bexar County District Attorney’s Office, Texas Attorney General’s Office, TDCJ-OIG, and San Antonio Police Department, located and arrested SOUVENIR at a residence on the south side of San Antonio. Texas DPS Highway Patrol Troopers provided assistance. In 1998, SOUVENIR was convicted of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child following an incident with an 8-year-old child and was subsequently sentenced to 12 years of confinement. In March 2022, SOUVENIR was convicted of Assault Causes Bodily Injury/Family Member. Several months later, SOUVENIR was convicted of Burglary of Habitation and subsequently received 8 years of probation. SOUVENIR also has a conviction in the past of Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements.SOUVENIR had been wanted out of Guadalupe County since January 2026 for Sexual Assault – Enhanced (Habitual).SOUVENIR’s capture was from tip information received through Crime Stoppers so a reward will be paid.
