Shawn Paul MUELLER, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, was captured on June 28, 2023, in Houston, Texas. Working off investigative information, members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Fugitive Task Force, including DPS Special Agents, located and arrested MUELLER at a residence in east Houston.In 2007, MUELLER was convicted of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance and subsequently received a seven year sentence of confinement in TDCJ. In 2017, he was convicted of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Felon and received Probation. In 2020, MUELLER was convicted of Assault of a Family/Household Member with Previous Conviction and subsequently received a two year sentence of confinement in TDCJ.MUELLER had been wanted since October 2021, when the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a warrant for his arrest for Parole Violation. Additionally, in November 2021, the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.MUELLER’s arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
