Marcus WALLACE, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive affiliated with the Crips gang, was captured on January 18, 2022, in McAllen, Texas. Working off investigative information, DPS Special Agents coordinated with Texas DPS Highway Patrol to locate and arrest WALLACE in the parking lot of a shopping center in McAllen.In 2006, WALLACE was convicted of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and Bail Jumping/Failure to Appear. He received two 15-year sentences to be served concurrently. In 2013, he was convicted of four counts of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance and received four 6-year sentences to be served concurrently. In 2019, WALLACE was convicted of Evading Arrest/Detention with a Previous Conviction and subsequently sentenced to 6-months' confinement. He was released on parole in May 2020.On November 18, 2020, the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office issued two felony warrants for WALLACE's arrest for Aggravated Promotion of Prostitution and Online Promotion of Prostitution. In addition, on February 4, 2021, the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a warrant for his arrest for Parole Violation.WALLACE’s arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
