DETAILS:

Humberto ACOSTA is a registered sex offender required to register annually. He has ties to Hidalgo County, including the cities of Pharr and Alamo. In 2020, ACOSTA was convicted of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child after an incident involving a four-year-old girl. He subsequently was sentenced to 10 years' probation. On December 3, 2020, the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for ACOSTA's arrest for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child. On December 23, 2020, the Alamo Police Department issued a warrant for his arrest for Possession of Child Pornography. In addition, on May 17, 2021, the Pharr Police Department issued a warrant for his arrest for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
