Russell Scott FORD, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was captured on December 2, 2019, in Beaumont, Texas.Working off investigative information, DPS CID Special Agents located and arrested FORD at a business in Beaumont. DPS Highway Patrol also provided assistance in the investigation.In 1997, FORD was convicted in Jefferson County of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child following an incident involving a 3-year-old boy. He was subsequently sentenced to 30 years in TDCJ prison.FORD had been wanted since March 2019 after a parole violation warrant was issued for his arrest by the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles. An additional warrant had also been issued by the Beaumont Police Department for FORD’s arrest for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.The arrest was not the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.

To be eligible for the cash rewards, tipsters must provide information to authorities using one of the following methods:
