Ramon Alberto ARTOLA JR. is a moderate-risk convicted sex offender who is required to register annually. He has established ties to Jefferson County, including the cities of Groves and Port Arthur, Texas. In 2000, ARTOLA was arrested for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child (5-year-old female victim), he pled guilty and was placed on 10 years’ probation. In 2002, he violated his probation when he was arrested for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements and was subsequently sentenced to 15 years confinement. In 2025, ARTOLA was once again arrested for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements. On June 01, 2026, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office issued three warrants for his arrest for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements, Reckless Driving (At Large w/o Proper Bond/Bond Violation), and Driving While Intoxicated (At Large w/o Proper Bond/Bond Violation).
