CAPTURE DETAILS:

Charles TILLMAN, Jr., affiliated with the Crips gang, was captured November 9, 2021 in Killeen, Texas. Working off tip information, members of the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, including DPS Special Agents, located and arrested TILLMAN at a residence. In 2011, he was convicted of Assault – Family Violence and sentenced to three years’ confinement in a TDCJ prison. In 2015, TILLMAN was convicted of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance and sentenced to 14 years’ confinement. He was released on parole in December 2019. TILLMAN had been wanted since June 4, 2021, after the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for TILLMAN’s arrest for Murder after a man was shot and killed in La Grange, Texas, on May 30, 2021. Additionally, the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a Parole Violation Warrant for TILLMAN’s arrest on June 16, 2021. TILLMAN’s arrest was the result of tip information received through Crime Stoppers and a reward was paid.
