George Alen ROGERS, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, was captured on September 24, 2024, in Canyon, Texas. Working off investigative information, members of the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force, including DPS Special Agents, located and arrested ROGERS. The Potter County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the fugitive investigation.ROGERS has been arrested multiple times in the past for Sex Offenses involving a child, including an arrest for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child in 2018 and an arrest for Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact in 2002.ROGERS had been wanted since April 2024, when a warrant was issued out of Potter County for his arrest for Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child: Victim Under 14 YOA.ROGERS’ arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
