Marlon WASHINGTON, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, was captured on February 8, 2023, in Dallas, Texas.Working off investigative information, members of the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force, including DPS Special Agents, located and arrested WASHINGTON. Texas DPS Highway Patrol, Grand Prairie Police Department, Mansfield Police Department, Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, and TDCJ-OIG all assisted in the multi-agency investigation.WASHINGTON had been wanted since June 6, 2022, after the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office issued warrants for his arrest for two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and one count each of Assault Causes Bodily Injury, Evading Arrest with a Vehicle, and Evading Arrest. On June 14, 2022, the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office also issued a warrant for his arrest for Criminally Negligent Homicide. Additionally, on June 27, 2022, the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance.WASHINGTON’s arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
