CAPTURE DETAILS:

Quentin PHILLIPS, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, was arrested on April 3, 2022, in San Antonio by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office. In 2013, PHILLIPS was convicted on two counts of Aggravated Assault Against a Public Servant and received two 8-year sentences to run concurrently in TDCJ. His criminal history also includes a federal conviction for Possession of a Weapon. In June 2020, he was arrested for Murder, Deadly Conduct, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. The charges stemmed from his suspected involvement in a July 2017 gang-related drive-by shooting in a San Antonio neighborhood that left a four-year-old boy dead and his mother injured. PHILLIPS was later released on bond and subsequently removed his ankle monitor. PHILLIPS had been wanted since May 21, 2021, after the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office issued warrants for his arrest for Murder, Deadly Conduct, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. In addition, on May 27, 2021, the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a warrant for his arrest for Parole Violation; and on June 3, 2021, the U.S. Marshals Service issued a warrant for his arrest for Probation Violation. The arrest was not the result of tip information received through Crime Stoppers.
