Quincy Kwamaine JOHNSON, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was captured on September 16, 2026, in McKinney, Texas. Following up on tip information, members of the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force, including Texas DPS Special Agents, along with members of the U.S. Marshals Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force, located and arrested JOHNSON at an apartment complex. The FBI Safe Street Task Force, Collin County Sheriff’s Office, and McKinney Police Department assisted in this fugitive investigation.In 2011, JOHNSON was convicted in Collin County of Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact following an incident with a 6-year-old girl. He was subsequently sentenced to 15 years 6 months confinement. JOHNSON was discharged from TDCJ prison in March 2026 and subsequently required to register as a sex offender. JOHNSON had been wanted since June 2026, after a warrant was issued out of Collin County for his arrest for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements.JOHNSON’s capture was the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so a reward will be paid.
