CAPTURE DETAILS:

Eduardo Quinones FUENTES, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender and documented Tango Valluco gang member, was taken into custody by U.S. law enforcement authorities on June 22, 2026, at the McAllen-Hidalgo International Bridge in Hidalgo, Texas. This fugitive investigation was conducted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), along with members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Fugitive Task Force, including Texas DPS Special Agents. Dating back to 2016, FUENTES had been convicted of Assault, Smuggling Aliens, Sexual Assault, Aggravated Assault w/Deadly Weapon and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. The Sexual Assault involved a 29-year-old female victim, in which FUENTES received 10 years of probation.FUENTES had been wanted since October 2025, after the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a warrant for his arrest for a Parole Violation (Original Offenses: Electronic Monitoring, Poss. of Firearm by Felon, Agg. Assault w/ Deadly Weapon (x2)). On October 16, 2025, Texas DPS issued an additional warrant for his arrest for Obstruction. Additionally, on November 5, 2025, a warrant was issued out of Hidalgo County for FUENTES’ arrest for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements.
