David SEGUNDO, Jr., a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was captured on July 7, 2025, in Irving, Texas. Working off investigative information, DPS Special Agents located and arrested SEGUNDO. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the fugitive investigation.In 1999, SEGUNDO was convicted of Aggravated Sexual Assault following an incident with a 27-year-old woman. He was subsequently sentenced to 10 years confinement. In 2015, SEGUNDO was convicted of Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements and subsequently sentenced to 10 years confinement. He remains on parole through April 2026. SEGUNDO had been wanted since November 2024, after the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a warrant for his arrest for a Parole Violation. In February 2025, a warrant was issued by the Haltom City Police Department for his arrest for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements. Additionally, in February 2025, a warrant was also issued out of Dallas County for his arrest for Probation Violation.SEGUNDO’s arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
