CAPTURE DETAILS:

Eliud Perez REYES, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, was captured on May 26, 2025, in Palmview, Texas. Working off investigative information received from DPS Special Agents, a Texas DPS Highway Patrol Trooper conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle occupied by REYES. Following the traffic stop, REYES was taken into custody without incident. Palmview Police Department assisted with the fugitive investigation. REYES had been wanted since December 2024, when warrants were issued out of Hidalgo County for his arrest for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Sexual Assault, and Assault of a Family/Household Member by Impeding Breath/Circulation. Additionally, in January 2025, a warrant was issued out of Fayette County for his arrest for Theft of Property.REYES’ arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
