Kenneth Wayne PATTERSON, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was captured on June 24, 2026, in Plano, Texas. Working off tip information, Texas DPS Criminal Investigations Division (CID) Special Agents, Plano Police Department Officers, along with members of the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force, located and arrested PATTERSON at an apartment complex.In 1989, PATTERSON was convicted in Dallas County of Sexual Assault of a Child following an incident with an 8-year-old girl. Subsequently, he was sentenced to 8 years confinement. PATTERSON has a history of Failing to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements.PATTERSON had been wanted since December 2025, after a warrant was issued out of Dallas County for his arrest for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements.PATTERSON’s capture was from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so a reward was paid.
