DETAILS:

Armando Adan SOTELO has ties to Reeves County including the city of Pecos, Texas, and to Hobbs, New Mexico. On May 22, 2024, warrants for Terroristic Threat and Unlawful Carrying Weapon were issued out of Reeves County for SOTELO’s arrest. On June 24, 2024, Pecos Police Department issued warrants for his arrest for Robbery and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. On August 28, 2024, Hobbs Police Department (New Mexico) issued warrants for SOTELO’s arrest for three (3) counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children and two (2) counts of Criminal Sexual Penetration. On September 3, 2024, Lea County Sheriff’s Office (New Mexico) issued a Probation Violation warrant for his arrest stemming from prior convictions of Shooting at or from a Motor Vehicle and Disorderly Conduct. Additionally, on April 10, 2025, the US District Court for the Western District of Texas issued federal arrest warrants for SOTELO’s arrest for Sexual Exploitation of Children and Distribution of Child Pornography. SOTELO has Cartel ties and may have fled across the border to the Ojinaga, Mexico area.
