Bobby Michael DENNIS is a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive with ties to Cherokee County, including Jacksonville, Texas.On November 2, 2025, a Blue Alert was issued in response to DENNIS’ alleged involvement in the shooting of a Jacksonville Police Department Officer and K9. The Officer and K9 were both wounded in the shooting. Following the incident, warrants were issued by the Jacksonville Police Department for DENNIS’ arrest for Aggravated Assault Against a Public Servant and Interference with a Police Service Animal.DENNIS has a violent criminal history, consisting of arrests in the past for Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Assault Causes Bodily Injury to a Family Member, Theft of Firearm, Unlawful Carrying a Weapon, and Violation Bond/Protective Order.DENNIS fled on foot, is believed to be armed with a rifle and is considered dangerous.
