DETAILS:

William CLIFFORD, a convicted sex offender required to register annually, was born in Louisiana and has ties to East Texas, particularly Longview and Spurger (Tyler County). In 2004, he was convicted of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child following an incident involving a 13-year-old girl. He was sentenced to 9 years’ confinement in a TDCJ Prison. In 2017, CLIFFORD was convicted of Failure to Comply with a Sex Offender’s Duty to Register and sentenced to 3 years’ confinement. He was released on parole in May 2019. On October 18, 2019, the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a Parole Violation warrant for CLIFFORD’s arrest. Additionally, the Tyler County Sheriff’s Office issued a Failure to Register as a Sex Offender warrant on January 20, 2021.
