Jeremy Duby LOPEZ, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was captured on March 4, 2026, in Houston, Texas. Working off investigative information, Texas DPS Special Agents, along with officers from the Pasadena Police Department, located and arrested LOPEZ at a motel on the east side of Houston.In 1997, LOPEZ was convicted of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child following an incident with a 12-year-old girl and subsequently sentenced to 5 years confinement. LOPEZ also has past convictions of Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substances, Theft of Property, Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle and Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements. In January 2021, LOPEZ was arrested by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for Transporting an Alien who is Unlawfully Present in the U.S. LOPEZ was discharged from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) in August 2021.LOPEZ had been wanted since February 2026, when a warrant was issued out of Brazoria County for his arrest for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements.LOPEZ’s arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
