DETAILS:

Miguel Clemento BISHOP is a convicted sex offender required to register annually. He has known ties to Wichita County, including the cities of Wichita Falls and Electra. BISHOP has an extensive criminal history dating back to the 1990s. In 2011, BISHOP was arrested in Colorado on multiple charges, including Sexual Assault of a Child Position of Trust-Pattern, Sexual Assault of a Child Position of Trust Victim Under 15 (x5), Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor Contributing, and Sexual Assault of a Child. He was subsequently convicted of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old female and sentenced to five years’ confinement. In 2020, BISHOP was convicted of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and sentenced to eight years’ confinement in a TDCJ facility. In July 2025, BISHOP was released on parole from TDCJ. On December 17, 2025, the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a warrant for his arrest for Parole Violation (Original Offense: Poss. of Firearm by Felon). On January 22, 2026, the US Marshals Service issued an additional warrant for his arrest for a Probation Violation (Original Offense: Poss. of Weapon). On February 18, 2026, a warrant for his arrest was issued out of Wichita County for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements.
