DETAILS:

Albert MERELL Jr. is a convicted sex offender who is required to register every three months. He has known ties to Bexar and Nueces Counties, including the cities of San Antonio and Corpus Christi, Texas. In 2001, MERELL was convicted and sentenced to 15 years confinement for Aggravated Sexual Assault, Aggravated Kidnapping, Aggravated Robbery, and Burglary of Habitation. He was discharged from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) in 2015. In 2022, MERELL was convicted in Tarrant County of Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements and subsequently received probation.. On August 5, 2025, the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements.
