Andrew Anthony LOPEZ, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender and documented Tango Orejon gang member, was captured on May 6, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. Working off investigative information, members of the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, including Texas DPS Special Agents, Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Attorney General’s Office, TBCJ-OIG, and ICE, located and arrested LOPEZ. In 2007, LOPEZ was arrested for Burglary of a Building and subsequently convicted. In 2013, LOPEZ was convicted in Bexar County for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child following an incident with a 7-year-old girl. He was subsequently sentenced to 10 years confinement in TDCJ prison. LOPEZ had been wanted since February 2026, after a warrant was issued out of Bexar County for his arrest for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements. LOPEZ’s arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
