Deion Jordan LOONEY, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was captured on November 9, 2023, in Garland, Texas. Working off investigative information, members of the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force, including DPS Special Agents, Garland Police Department, and Mansfield Police Department, located and arrested LOONEY.LOONEY, a high-risk sex offender, was convicted in 2016 of Burglary of a Habitation and subsequently received two years’ probation. In 2018, he was convicted of Indecency with a Child by Exposure following an incident with a 10-year-old boy. He subsequently received four years’ probation. Since 2020, LOONEY has been convicted multiple times of Failure to Comply with Sex Offenders Duty to Register 10 Years.LOONEY had been wanted since July 2022, when warrants were issued out of Dallas County for his arrest for Failure to Comply with Sex Offenders Duty to Register 10 Years and Probation Violation.LOONEY's arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
