Andre Lamon REDMOND, Jr., a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, was captured on July 6, 2023, in Dallas, Texas. Working off investigative information, members of the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force, including DPS Special Agents, located and arrested REDMOND.In 2014, REDMOND was convicted of Burglary of a Habitation and subsequently sentenced to ten years’ confinement in a TDCJ prison. He was released on parole in January 2020.REDMOND had been wanted since July 2022, after the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a warrant for his arrest for Parole Violation. Additionally, in November 2022, the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for REDMOND’s arrest for Assault Causes Bodily Injury; and in May 2023, the Collin County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.REDMOND’s arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
