Lazaro RODRIGUEZ, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive affiliated with the Texas Orejon gang, was captured on April 17, 2023, by San Antonio Police Department officers.In 2010, RODRIGUEZ was convicted of two counts of Assault Against a Public Servant Causing Bodily Injury and one count of Deadly Weapon in a Penal Institution. He subsequently received a 12 year sentence for each conviction to be served concurrently in a TDCJ prison. RODRIGUEZ was released on parole from TDCJ prison in August 2020. He had been wanted since July 2021 after the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest for Assault – Choking/Strangulation. Additionally, in September 2021, the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a warrant for his arrest for Parole Violation.RODRIGUEZ’s arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
