Nicholas WASHINGTON, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, was arrested on September 16, 2022, following a traffic stop conducted by a Fort Worth Police Department officer.In 2017, WASHINGTON was convicted of Assault of Family/Household Member by Impeding Breath/Circulation and sentenced to 4-years of confinement. He was released on parole in January 2020.WASHINGTON had been wanted since January 2022, after the Fort Worth Police Department issued warrants for his arrest for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. Additionally, the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a Parole Violation warrant in April 2022.WASHINGTON’s arrest was the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers and a reward was paid.
