John HAVENER was captured on July 24, 2022, following a traffic stop conducted by Durant PD in southern Oklahoma. In 2011, HAVENER was convicted of Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility and Bail Jumping/Failure to Appear. In 2015, he was convicted Poss. of a Controlled Substance and sentenced to eight years of confinement. He was released on parole in 2018. In 2020, he was convicted of Assault of a Family/Household Member with Previous Conviction and received probation. In March 2022, he was arrested for Poss. of a Controlled Substance and subsequently bonded out.HAVENER had been wanted since March 23, 2022, after the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a warrant for his arrest for Parole Violation. On March 29, 2022, Fannin County SO also issued warrants for his arrest for Agg. Assault Against a Public Servant with a Vehicle and Evading Arrest with a Vehicle. Additionally, on April 5, 2022, Taylor County SO issued a warrant for his arrest for Probation Violation; and on June 20, 2022, Grayson County SO issued a warrant for his arrest for Poss. of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver.The arrest was not the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
