CAPTURE DETAILS:

Cameron BISHOP, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, was arrested on July 14, 2022, in Commerce, Texas. Working off tip information, DPS Special Agents, along with law enforcement authorities from Collin County SO, Collin County DA's Office, Grayson County DA's Office, and Commerce PD located and arrested BISHOP at an apartment complex.In 2019, BISHOP was convicted of three counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and received three 3-year sentences to be served concurrently. In 2020, he was convicted of Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon in a Prohibited Place and was sentenced to two years’ confinement. He was released on parole in August 2021. In September 2021, BISHOP was arrested in Hunt County for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Marijuana. He subsequently bonded out.BISHOP had been wanted since October 4, 2021, after the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a warrant for his arrest for Parole Violation. In addition, on January 26, 2022, the Hunt County SO issued a warrant for his arrest for Assault Causes Bodily Injury.BISHOP’s arrest was the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers and a reward was paid.
