CAPTURE DETAILS:

Theodore VILLARREAL, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive affiliated with the Texas Mexican Mafia gang, was captured on February 17, 2022, in Kenedy, TX. Working off tip information, the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, including DPS Special Agents, located and arrested VILLARREAL at a residence. Texas DPS Commercial Vehicle Enforcement (CVE) assisted in the arrest.In 1987, VILLARREAL was sentenced to probation for Burglary; however, the probation was revoked in 1990 and he was subsequently given an eight-year sentence. In 1990, VILLARREAL was convicted of Burglary of a Habitation and Aggravated Assault. He received a 60-year and 8-year sentence to be served concurrently. He was released on parole in 2003.VILLARREAL had been wanted since March 5, 2020, after the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a Parole Violation warrant for his arrest. In addition, on June 14, 2021, the Karnes County Sheriff’s Office issued three felony warrants for his arrest for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Terroristic Threat, and Assault Causes Serious Bodily Injury.VILLARREAL's arrest was the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers and a reward was paid.
